Update - I just discovered the driver I have is MS 10.0.10586.0. Apparently, when I try to install Realtek's driver, W10 either doesn't allow it or installs it's own driver afterward.

I once read about a hack for the HP SimpleSave that would turn it into a external HD, without all the automatic crap HP thinks we want. I have since trying to find that hack, but with no success....
